The guest speaker at my writer's group last month was a famous publicist, he told us the ins and outs of the industry and also graciously listened to our "blurb'--the short paragraph on the back cover of a book written to entice the reader. He suggested I change my title from "Mad Dogs and Mexicans" to "How to Hotwire an Airplane." I thought it was a good suggestion, so I did, as you can see on this website. What do you think? Is this a catchier title?
My agent has not sent the manuscript to a publisher yet, he says it will do better if I have an online following. So I have created this website, and also written a short primer on flying small planes that is included on this website. I hope you find it funny and also informative! As my journey from writer to published author continues I will post updates here. Thanks for following!
